Koronadal City (NAPOLCOM-12/PIA 12) -- The National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) Regional Office 12 is now accepting applications for PNP Entrance and PNP Promotional Examinations. Deadline of filing applications is on September 4, 2009 (Friday). However, due to logistical constraints, the regional office reserves the right to stop accepting applications even ahead of the deadline and will accommodate applicants on a "first come, first - served" basis. To ensure orderliness, only duly authorized personnel stationed at the Administrative Service Division, NAPOLCOM 12, 2nd Floor, Top Commercial Building, corner Alunan Avenue and Abad Santos Street, Koronadal City will accept and process applications. All applicants have to accomplish Application Form (NaPolCom Form 1-A) and Index Card (back to back) by completely filling out the data required and by attaching 4 pieces recent and identical 1" x1" color ID picture with white background and complete name tag. They also have to submit 2 pieces legal size window envelopes, each with Php 9.00 worth of postal stamps.
Civilians who want to take the PNP Entrance Exam must apply in person for the height requirement which is1.62 meters for male and 1.57 for females. They have to present original copies of their Transcript of Scholastic Record and Birth Certificate (LCR or NSO) and submit certified true copies of these documents. Fee for the PNP Entrance Exam is Php 400.00. PNP members who will apply for the first time have to submit certified true copies of the following documents: Attested Appointment for Present Rank (KSS); Certificate of Completion for Highest Mandatory Police Training; PNP Service Record; and Report of Rating of Highest Eligibility. Fees for the PNP Promotional Exams are as follow: Php 400.00 for Police Officer Exam; Php 450.00 for Senior Police Officer Exam; Php 500.00 for Police Inspector Exam; and Php 600.00 for Police Superintendent Exam. Applicants who will re-take the same exam category (either they failed the exam or were absent in the previous exam) need not submit the required documents enumerated above. They only need to submit their respective Notices of Admission of the previous exam. An applicant is allowed to apply for only one exam category. Those who already passed are strictly prohibited from taking the same exam category, except those exams declared as inappropriate by the CSC. Said exams will be conducted simultaneously in 18 centers nationwide in October 25, 2009 (Sunday) and the Exam Center for Region 12 will be at the Notre Dame of Marbel University (NDMU), along Alunan Avenue, Koronadal City.
